Like an onion, there are many layers to this issue. So to make sense of it all, I started filming those associated with this issue early on in my research. Granted this was before I actually knew what the story was that I wanted to tell with the film. But luckily, that footage is not going to waste as we can use it in our fundraising trailer. Now that we’ve started adding congressional oversight footage with our news clips and interviews things are really starting to come together.
